As some of you might know the Pacific coast of Mexico has been hit by a couple of tropical hurricanes lately. We have been trying to avoid the winds and rain and have been spending quite some time on buses going south lately. Therfore we haven't been able to blog for a while, also we're lazy...
From Mazatlan we got a bus to San Blas.
Waiting for the bus to San Blas
Here we rented a cabaña om the beach for four days, and half of the time we were the only ones there
San Blas cabaña
Home Sweet Home
Jason was planning to get some surfing done, but with the storms coming the waves grew a little too big for his liking
San Blas is a fairly small town, and in the low season there aren't many travellers around. We both enjoyed our time in this little sleepy beach town, and didn't miss the constant noise of Mazatlan.
The hostel we stayed at let us use their bikes for free, which saved us some cab money, but most importantly provided a much needed cool breeze.
San Blas Sunset
As I mentioned we had to leave San Blas in sort of a hurry to get away from the storms, and from here we went to Zihuatanejo, meaning we would miss a couple of spots on the way. We´ll be back with more pictures from Zihua in not too long
